Kumuyi assures Nigerians of ‘change’ at crusade
THE General Superintendent, Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM), Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi, has called on Nigerians to be patient with the present administration, asserting that the change Nigerians have been expecting had started.
Addressing journalists on Tuesday night during the inaugural Lagos City-wide crusade at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos, being organised by DCLM in conjunction with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Kumuyi appealed to Nigerians to have hope, look up to God Who is able and would definitely turn things around according to every Nigerian’s good desire.
He said: “There is no doubt that the change we have been clamouring for as Nigerians have already started and for those that are still finding fault with this administration, my admonition to them is that they should have hope.
“What every individual is expecting may not take place this very minute, but God is certainly going to do wonders in our country and things are really going to turn around for the better.”
The cleric, who said that the nation would definitely experience the type of mighty and supernatural change God effected on those that came out to give testimonies concerning their problems during his ministration that night, stated: “God works in various and mysterious ways as the multitude tonight have seen. We should know that many things that are happening against our individual and corporate desire and bringing unrest to some of our fellow Nigerians are pointers that a lot of forces are contending with the survival of our great nation.
“However, the solutions we need as a nation to have a total victory border on the wisdom of God, the power of God and His total support which this city-wide crusade that would continue in other locations in the city of Lagos one after the other, is capable of addressing.
“My prayer is that the Lord will really help the present administration scale through until we get to the end of the tunnel in Jesus name.”
