IGP redeploys senior officers
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris has redeployed some senior officers.
The officers involved are the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 2 Command, comprising Lagos and Ogun states, Mr. Kayode Cornelius Aderanti; Imo State Commissioner of Police (CP), Taiwo Frederick Lakanu and the Commandant at Police College, Ikeja, CP Chris Okey Ezike.
According to information from police high command yesterday, Aderanti would replace AIG Adamu Ibrahim of Zone 1 Headquarters in Kano while the latter moves to Zone 2 command.
Ezike takes over from Lakanu, who has been elevated to the rank of AIG.
All the officers are expected to conclude handing over by April 3.
