The Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris Tuesday ordered the removal of Plateau state commissioner of Police, Undie Adie.
This development was communicated in a statement by the Plateau State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Mathias Tyopev.
Adie has been replaced with Austin Agbonlahor, who was until his appointment, the commissioner of police (Operations) at Force Headquarters, Abuja.
Adie’s removal may be related to the recent surge in insecurity in the state, which has claimed over 50 lives in less than a month.
