Igbinedion varsity Founder’s Day holds tomorrow
The Vice-Chancellor, Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, Professor Eghosa Osaghae, on behalf of the Board of Regents, Council and Senate has announced the activities marking the 17th Founder’s Day Ceremony and Special Convocation for the Conferment of Honorary Degree of the institution.
According to a statement signed by the Registrar, Edwin Okoro, the ceremony will hold tomorrow, 10th May, 2016 at the University Main Auditorium, Okada by 11.00 a.m.
The founder’s day lecture titled: Cultural Literacy and the Future of Multi-Ethnic States will be delivered by literary icon, Odia Ofeimun.
There will also be special convocation for the conferment of honorary Master’s degree on pop music star, Innocent Ujah Idibia (Tuface Idibia) and the inauguration of Igbinedion University Centre for Conflict and Peace Studies and the Centre for Edo Language.
