Senator Ali Wakili representing Bauchi South has denied allegations that he is against President Buhari and the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) on whose platform he was elected. He also denied the accusation that he was having a rift with the Bauchi state Governor, Mohammed Abubakar concerning 2019.

I am in total support of the change mantra of this administration and I will continue to support him for the development of the nation. Meanwhile, a group called Bauchi State New Era For Democracy (BASNED) has condemned the recent rally staged in Bauchi metropolis against National Assembly members for the state.

In a press release signed by the Chairman of the group, Com Kabiru Katuka and Secretary Ibrahim Auwal respectively alleged that the rally was orchestrated by the Mohammed Abubakar administration. But Governor Abubakar speaking through his Press Secretary, Abubakar al-Sadique, has denied this.
