NIGERIANS have been urged to give the new administration of President Muhammadu Buhari time to effect the change agenda.

This call was made recently when a group of church ministers gathered together for a one-day prayer session on leadership in Nigeria to appraise the performance of the present administration.

Speaking immediately after the programme, the special guest minister and General Overseer of Guiding Light Assembly, Victoria Island, Lagos, Pastor Adewale Joseph Adefarasin said the rot in Nigeria has become very deep and the new administration has to lay a foundation, saying that is what they’re doing now. “When you are building the foundation of a house nobody sees you, but that is what Buhari and his people are doing now.”

Speaking further, Adefarasin said the change Nigerians are craving for will come, urging all Nigerians to be patient with this administration.

According to him each time you try to govern diverse people through a unitary government, it will fail, just as he proposed that the leadership must go back to true federalism otherwise the fear of domination, fear of oppression will continue to hamper our development.
