THE Police Assistance Committee (PAC) has condemned the criticisms trailing President Muhammadu Buhari’s recent appointments into key positions, which has been given ethnic and religious colouration.

In a statement signed by its Director – General, Dr. Martins John Oni, after its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja, the organisation asked Nigerians to allow the President use his governance savvy to appoint those he can trust to work with him and should not be distracted unnecessarily, adding that the President has good intentions to lead the country on the right path.

PAC, while expressing support on the fight against graft, money laundering and embezzlement of public funds, urged Nigerians to rally round the government in its determination to sanitize the system in order to achieve what great countries like China, Singapore and others had attained in the area of economic development.

The group, however, urged the president not to get too carried away while probing past administrations but should concentrate more efforts in providing good governance for Nigerians and focus more on developmental programmes.
