A call has gone to President Muhammadu Buhari to rejig his cabinet, so as to reinvigorate governance processes and ensure efficient delivery of electoral promises.

According to a non-governmental organisation, Centre for Anti-Corruption and Open Leadership, (CACOL), which made the call, overhauling the federal cabinet has become the only way for the President to renew citizens’ confidence in his administration.

In a release signed by the Executive Chairman, Debo Adeniran, CACOL observed that after two and a half years of Buhari’s administration, certain patterns that exposed mediocrity and incompetence within the rank of the cabinet members have unfolded.

Adeniran accused the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing under Mr. Raji Fashola of having no practical achievement to justify its huge budget, stressing that all their actions have compounded the sufferings of Nigerians in many ways.
