of Katsina State has warmed top civil servants against collaborating with his predecessors to sabotage his administration.

Masari gave the warning on Saturday in Katsina, during a colloquium to mark his 100 days in office.

He alleged that some top civil servants had broken their oaths of office of secrecy and had been releasing secret documents to officials of governments that preceded his own.

The governor warned that anyone caught in such act would face the law.

‘’We have the records of those that have been engaging in this act and we are going to take action against them,” he said.

In his contribution, a former secretary to the defunct Kaduna State government, Alhaji Abidu Yazidu, said that the large scale fraud suspected to have been committed by the past government could not have been possibe without civil servants’ collaboration.

Yazidu advised civil servants to abide by their oath of office and avoid committing acts that could be detrimental to the people of Katsina State. (NAN)
