court.jpg-citynewsSUPPORTERS of the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State have expressed optimism that the strength of the evidence gathered for presentation before the election petitions tribunal had rekindled their hope.

As the hearing begins, the court heard the testimony of witnesses presented by the APC.

Speaking with newsmen in Gombe, the Secretary of the party, Alhaji Sallau Manu Pindiga, urged supporters to remain confident and steadfast in their quest for justice at the tribunal.

He said the party is equally confident that justice would be done to its case in view of the strength of their evidence.

Pindiga said even after the declaration of the results of April election, the party’s supporters were never demoralised as they had strong case to reclaim their victory.

“We have more than enough documents to prove our case of massive election rigging, ranging from ballot-box snatching, ballot-box stuffing and other electoral malpractices”, said the party stalwart.
