Ganduje assures Buhari’s victory in Kano, submits nomination form

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje yesterday assured a President Buhari victory in the 2019 elections in Kano.

Ganduje who gave the assurance at the National headquarters of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja while submitting his expression of Interest and nomination forms to return for a second term, insisted Kano has no space for other aspirants.

Ganduje told the APC National chairman that Kano belongs to APC and is solidly behind his administration and that of President Buhari.

He maintained that APC stakeholders in Kano opted for Direct primaries to conduct elections for the emergence of candidates that will fly the party’s flag in the 2019 general elections to demonstrate the popularity of party.

The governor, who highlighted the progressive nature of Kano politics, said several aspirants have indicated interest to vie for numerous positions to demonstrate the fact that democracy was at work.
