FCT requires over N18.4bn for resettlement schemes
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Muhammad Bello has said that for the resettlement scheme by the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) to be impactful, about N18.4 billion is required.
The Minister represented by the Executive Secretary of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Engr. Umar Gambo Jibrin stated this while fielding questions from journalists in Abuja.
There are claims that past administrations had made provisions for the resettlement of original inhabitants of the FCT, but most of them are yet to be fully relocated.
