EU partners Kano on business licensing reforms
CONCERNED about the business and investment environment in Kano, the European Union (EU) has partnered the state government in a programme tagged Business Licensing Reform (BLR) to seek ways to improve the sector.
This was disclosed at a one-day interactive session of the stakeholders organised by Growth and Employment in State (GEMS3), Kano office on Tuesday.
Representative of GEMS3, Barrister Muhammad Zubair gave the hint at a media interactive session, stressing that the main objective of the programme was, “to improve the business and investment environment through reforms in regulatory framework to reduce the cost and time for businesses.”
He further explained that this would be achieved through reviewing, streamlining and improving access to information about existing federal and state government license, permit and registration processes, and improving the quality of new regula
