Bayelsa-A FORMER Minister of Petroleum and an indigene of Bayelsa, Chief Dan Etete has called on all the political parties contesting the gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa State to exercise caution in order to avoid crisis.

Etete, who urged the main contenders to maintain peace, said in a statement: “Whether of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) or All Progressives Congress (APC), and all other parties, they should exercise caution in the forth coming gubernatorial elections.

“They owe the state and her people a duty of maintaining peace as against violence; they owe the people development rather than destruction. Posterity will judge each action that they take, whether collectively as a party, or as individuals.
