PREPARING the Nigerian youths for a democratic future would be the focus of discussion at the 2015 Founder’s Day lecture of King’s College Lagos.

Vice President of King’s College Old Boys Association (KCOBA) and Chairman, Kingsweek Committee, Dr. Leke Oshunniyi said the lecture scheduled for Friday, September 18, 2015, would be delivered by the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai as part of activities to mark the 106th Founder’s Day anniversary of the college.

The Founder’s Day dinner, which will hold on Saturday, September 19, 2015, Oshunniyi said, would feature the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as the special guest of honour.

The ceremony will end with the anniversary thanksgiving service, which will hold at the College’s main campus Assembly Hall on Sunday, September 20, at 9.00am. while the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place the same day at 2.00pm.

Oshunniyi said KCOBA as one of Nigeria’s leading alumni association has for many years been in the vanguard of the quest for educational reform and transformation. “And that is what we are out to achieve through this celebration, engaging key stakeholders to find solution with a political will to implement the solution,” he said.
