Egbeyemi appointed Lagos environmental taskforce chairman
Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has sacked the Chairman of Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit, Olubukola Abe, nine months after he was appointed to head the unit.
The governor has appointed Saidi Yinka Egbeyemi, a Superintendent of Police (SP) and a former Aide De Camp (ADC) to Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun as the new Chairman.
Until his appointment, Egbeyemi was the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Sango-Ota Police Station.
An indigene of Owu in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Egbeyemi has also served as DPO at Aguda, Surulere and State CID, Panti, Yaba, as well as Deputy Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command.
