Dogara, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Mr Turaki Hassan, in Abuja on Wednesday,
urged them to seek peace and tolerance to engender a better democratic nation.

“I felicitate with the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid el-Kabir.

“As festivities go on to mark the day, let us remember to pray for the progress and success of the change agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“Nigerians of various faiths must tolerate one another as we all have no other country than Nigeria.

“God made us of different faiths and tongues so that we can use our diversity for the greater good of the society,’’ Dogara said in the statement.

The speaker also urged them to use the occasion to pray for the success of the ongoing war against terrorism in the North East, stressing that the military needed prayers to succeed.
