Dickson, Okowa, Ortom felicitate with PDP’s standard bearer

Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson has described the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the just concluded presidential primaries in Port Harcourt, Atiku Abubakar as a leader with requisite experience to tackle the country’s challenges.

In a statement issued by Special Adviser to Governor Dickson on Media Relations, Fidelis Soriwei, the governor made the comment while speaking with journalists on the emergence of the former Vice President as PDP’s presidential candidate at the party’s National Convention in Port Harcourt yesterday.

The governor also commended the other aspirants for demonstrating the spirit of sportsmanship by accepting the verdict of delegates.

Also, Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has congratulated Atiku on his victory at PDP’s presidential primary election.

Okowa extended his goodwill message to Atiku in a statement issued in Asaba yesterday by his Chief Press Secretary, Charles Aniagwu.

Meanwhile, Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has congratulated Atiku for emerging PDP’s presidential candidate for the 2019 general elections.

Ortom said the credible conduct of the presidential primaries was a confirmation that the PDP is a party that truly practises transparency and internal democracy, which give the people the freedom to choose those who will lead them.
