Delta State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Mustafa, has called on security agencies in the state to close ranks and collaborate with one another to fight crime. He stated this yesterday when he paid a visit to the Department of State Security (DSS) in Asaba.

Mustafa said the visit was to cement and sustain the cordial relationship existing between the Police, DSS and other security agencies in their war against crime.

The Police boss called for sharing of intelligence, information, support by security agencies and all stakeholders to enhance joint efforts against men of the underworld. According to him, “this will bring about unity of purpose and would make law enforcement agencies formidable against crime”.

While promising to continue do his best, he expressed confidence in security agencies to fight criminality in society, adding that they need openness, greater synergy, understanding and trust among all relevant stakeholders to fight a successful war against crime.
