THE Charismatic Renewal Ministries (CRM) Incorporated will congregate at its ground at Amakohia in Mgbirichi, near Owerri, Imo State, for its five-yearly international world conference from August 24 to 31, its authorities have said.

Addressing journalists in Owerri, CRM the General Overseer, Dr. Cosmas Ilechukwu, said the theme of the conference is, “Let Thy Kingdom Come,” adding that renowned religious men, including Prof. Danny McCain, Rev. Williams Okoye, Rev. Uma Upai, and the President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Dr. Felix Omobude, would be attending.

Also billed to attend are Apostle Pearl Kupe and the Chairman of Coscharis Group, Dr. Cosmas Maduka, who would address the conference, just as representatives from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany and others, as well as those of South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Cameroun, among others.

According to Ilechukwu, activities at the event will include free medical treatment and outreach vocational programmes to enable indigent, sick and physically challenged persons benefit from training, skills acquisition and grants.

He disclosed that security measures were already in place to safeguard participants. Meanwhile, he said the body, in line with the National Universities Commission (NUC), has acquired 100 hectares of land for its university in Ihe, near Umuakpu, Ohaji.
