Council chief lauds NULGE’s boss

THE Chairman of Isoko North Local Council of Delta State, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, has commended the outgoing council’s National Union of Local Government Employess (NULGE) chapter chairman, Comrade Ernest Asakpoku for his outstanding stewardship.

Egbabor, who gave the commendation at a staff get-together and send-forth party for retired and transferred staff, charged the council workers to always elect credible leaders with the right leadership qualities to ensure that their welfare is well taken care of.

He reiterated that his administration was irrevocably committed to the well-being of workers capacity building for the development and growth of the council.

Earlier, Asakpoku stated that his leadership witnessed transformation and innovations that made the union grew from at length.

He charged workers to remain committed to the policies and programmes of the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa-led administration in the state.

Asakpoku urged NULGE’s continued support for the governor’s SMART agenda for rapid development of the state, just as he tasked government to always appreciate workers for their meritorious services.
