A Parish Priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, Rev. Fr John Oluoma has called for an end to bigotry and animosity among different religious faithful in Nigeria, stating that continuous promotion of such wrong-headed values have not done the country any good.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the public presentation of his music album entitled: ‘His Presence,’ Oluoma urged political and religious leaders to take steps that would cement the unity of Nigeria, rather than promoting division.

He however, attributed the backwardness of Nigeria in virtually all sectors to vain attachment to things that do not contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
