President Muhammadu Buhari and Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, yesterday extolled the virtues of former Benue State Chief Judge, late Justice Alhassan Idoko.
They described Idoko’s anti-corruption stance as crucial for the progress of the country.

The two leaders spoke at the first memorial lecture for the late legal luminary in Makurdi, Benue State

President Buhari spoke through Ortom, who later made remarks as the state’s chief executive.

“The late Justice Alhassan Idoko was a God-fearing, respected and incorruptible jurist, who contributed immensely to the dispensation of justice in Benue State in particular and Nigeria at large,” President Buhari stated.”

Meanwhile, Special Adviser to Ortom for the Bureau of Rural Development and Cooperatives, Tsenongo Abancha has decried massive encroachment on landed properties belonging to the Bureau’s divisional offices in the 23 Local Councils.
