Buhari okays FERMA governing board

A statement signed by an Assistant Director of Press in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mohammed Nakorji, yesterday said the appointment is subject to the confirmation of the Senate.

• Re-Appoints Ewesor As NEMSA MD

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointments of the Governing Board of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), with Mr. Tunde Lemo as Chairman.

Other members of the Board are Nurudeen Abdurrahaman Rafindadi; Buba Silas Abdullahi; Babagana Mohammad Aji; Shehu Usman Abdullahi; Loretta Ngozichukwu Aniagolu; Mujaidu Stanley Dako; Vincent Oladapo Kolawole; Chukwunwike O. Uzo; Olubunmi Siyanbola; Abdulrazak Ma’aji; Saidu Abdulkadir; and Peter Osawe.

A statement signed by an Assistant Director of Press in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mohammed Nakorji, yesterday said the appointment is subject to the confirmation of the Senate.

In another development, the President has approved the re-appointment of Peter O. Ewesor as the Managing Director of Nigerian Electricity Management Service Agency (NEMSA) for a final term of four years.

According to the statement, the re-appointment, which took effect from October 3, this year, is in accordance with the provisions of Section 7 (3) of the NEMSA Act, 2015.
