Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of training and development and Bayelsa Election, Hashimu Argungu, said this in a statement that the ban became necessary after the police uncovered plans by “some disgruntled elements” to  stage a protest in the state.

He warned that “This form of conduct will jeopardize the ongoing electoral process. Therefore the command warns the intending perpetrators to desist from such acts as it will deal decisively with any person or group of persons who wishes to engage in any conduct that will compromise the existing peaceful atmosphere.”

God bless Dickson, Dickson represents the people of Bayelsa State, Silva represents the Hausas/Fulanis who want to use him as prozy to siphon the God given wealth of the Bayelsa people to rebuild the terrorist infested North. I am very proud of you the Bayelsans for your resistance to blackmail, distortion and intimidation. You have demonstrated that it is not business as usual, that your future is in your own hands. How can Silva ignore the bad treatment including stoning him at campaign rallies in the North while Buhari could campaign freely in the SS meted on Jonathan by the Hausas/Fulanis that he represents if he is truly a Bayelsan. Shame on you Silva! You gave your own brother Jonathan away for your selfish interest just as Amaechi did. History will never be kind to you.

Eventually, your comment shows that your candidate is only interesed in being the governor and stopping the siphoning of funds by through proxy. Please ask your governor to prudently use Bayelsa’s resources since Central Americas will not accept them when oil finishes.

Ewu Nama what a strange name! As we both know, the people of that region have been treated unfairly by the convolution called Nigerian. It was from their God given natural resources that Lagos was developed, when the Hausa/Fulani jointly conspired to develop the North they moved the capital to Abuja and developed it from the natural resources of the Niger-deltans. No region of Nigeria has suffered man made destruction as seen in the Niger-delta as a result of exploitation and negligence by the federal government that should protect them. The only time a Niger-deltan became a president, he was denied campaigning in the North. Today, the Northerners are licking their self-inflicted wund in the name of BH. They plan to install puppet governor in the name of Sylva, but guess what? The people of Bayelsa are wiser today. They understand the evil plot of APC and Buhari, they are ready to defend what is theirs. Hon. Dickson will maximize the resources both natural and otherwise to the benefit of the people of Bayelsa State. His development policies are that of diversification of revenue sources and human capacity building. Oil or not, Nigeria or not, Bayelsa State will ever live. They do not need anyone else.

I really hope he is thinking of the future of the villages there. I am not sure I will be alive when oil finally goes dry but nature needs us humans and we need nature. I hope that people will find it good to visit and live in Bayelsa at that time.

South Ijaw ĹG has almost 120000 voters so addition of other 7 LG voters is equivalent to south ijaw’s alone. No shaking, Dickson is a goner.
