Bauchi gov urges vigilance at Sallah

BAUCHI State Governor Mohammed Abubakar has cautioned the people of the state to be extra-vigilant of security situation in their communities.

The governor gave this advice in his Sallah message through his Senior Adviser on Media and Communication, saying that it is the will of the government to triumph over terrorism.

He said: “I urge you all to be extra-vigilant and security conscious so that our celebration and determination to move our state forward are not impeded and frustrated by those whose primary pre-occupation is to inflict pains and cause disharmony.”

According to him, all hands are required to be on deck as well as to strive and rebuild the state.

He said the people should also use the occasion for soul-winning and improve in their relationship with Almighty Allah.
