The 10-storey complex housing the Evangelical Bible Outreach Ministry International (EBOMI) Jos, was invaded by the Directorate of the State Security Services (DSS) where its leader and General Overseer, Isa El-Buba was harassed around 11.30 pm on Monday.

It was gathered that the security operatives wanted to arrest and whisk him away to their headquarters in Abuja to answer some questions.

Speaking to journalists yesterday afternoon on what really transpired between him and the DSS, Prophet El-Buba said, “They came in their numbers including the Deputy Director that they wanted to have me. My attempted arrest was based on the Cross-Over national broadcast to Nigerians.” Asked if he was afraid, he retorted he was not.

The Prophet said that he was only saying that justice must be done and that Nigeria must move forward and that all citizens of voting age should go and register and get their Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) to vote. El-Buba, who was flanked by senior pastors who came in solidarity, said that the killings going on across the country must stop.

Earlier, the National President, Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Plateau State Chapter, Daniel Kadzai, said that they came to tell El-Buba to be strong, adding that he also wanted to calm the youths in Nigeria to ensure that proper things are done.

All efforts to speak to the DSS were not fruitful, as their phone numbers did not go through.
