Army arrest Boko Haram spy, kill seven terrorists in Borno

Troops of Operation Lafiya Dole have arrested a suspected Boko Haram spy and killed seven other terrorists during a joint clearance operation along Damboa/Magumeri axis of Borno State.

The suspected spy, Modu Chari, was arrested, while transiting Cross Kauwa community in Kukawa Local Council last Friday.

Deputy Director, Army Public Relations of Operation Lafiya Dole, Col. Onyema Nwachukwu in a statement released in Maiduguri, yesterday, said the killings were made in three separate military clearance operations.

He urged the public to be vigilant and report suspicious persons, movements and activities to security agencies for prompt action.
