Nigeria’s Institute of Chartered Arbitrators has described arbitration process as a viable and potent option for settlement of commercial and investment disputes.

Speaking at a media briefing in Lagos, to announce its 2018 annual conference slated for 24 and 25 October 2018, the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of the institute, Shola Osodi-John explained that the conference will focus on promoting opportunities for business owners, legal practitioners and other
professionals.

The Chairman of the 2018 Annual Conference Planning Committee, Victor Ihekweuazu, said the conference will create opportunity for young persons both at the student and young professionals cadre to engage and embrace arbitration and ADR.
