TO ensure effective execution of the war against insurgents, the leadership of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has rotated its ground troops who have been fighting Boko Haram terrorists in the last six months.

The move, which is intended to rest the personnel and bring in fresh troops to carry on with the battle, was concluded as the rested troops were airlifted to their various units.

A statement issued yesterday in Abuja by the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information (DoPRI), Air Commodore Dele Alonge, said the “ground forces fighting alongside the troops of the Nigerian Army have spent over six months at Operation Lafiya Dole in the North East Nigeria.”
