After Paraguay bestows TB Joshua with highest honour, Nigerians speak

If there is one person who is extremely excited by the conferment of Paraguay’s highest honour, (the National Order of Merit, with distinction) on Prophet T.B. Joshua, the General Overseer of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations, on 10th day of August 2017, it is Mr Jonas Maduabuchukwu Ojukwu.

A beneficiary of the healing God had used the cleric to perform, Mr Ojukwu, who is the Peace Ambassador and director at Innoson Group, foremost indigenous manufacturers of motor vehicles and spares as well as other industrial products, wants Nigerians to see the honour as further proof that Prophet Joshua is indeed a genuine man of God.

During the cleric’s sojourn in Paraguay, countless miracles took place with not less than 100 physically challenged people in wheel chairs healed of their afflictions as they walked unaided from the Estadio Defensores Del Chaco (stadium) in the capital, Asuncion, with their wheel chairs raised.

Many other Nigerians are also pleased by the accomplishment of the clergyman, with the deputy national publicity secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Timi Frank, congratulating the prophet on the latest national award by a foreign country.

He said by getting Paraguay’s highest honour – the National Order of Merit, with Distinction – “which was conferred on you by the Paraguayan government for your relentless and selfless service to humanity”, the entire world would come to know the prophet’s dedication to the betterment of the human race.
According to him,“This is certainly a well-deserved award in recognition of your leadership and significant contributions to advancing peace and blessings to the people of the world through your teachings and healings.

“I am ecstatic that you are being honoured with this award, the highest ever conferred on a non-citizen of Paraguay and for the first time too. It is pleasing to me personally because through hard work and dedication, you have made a tremendous difference in the lives of people all over the world. Let me personally congratulate you, Prophet T.B. Joshua and Partners as well as on behalf of the SCOAN congregations and volunteers all around Nigeria.”

However, although Prophet Joshua’s commitment to charity and liberating humanity from all sorts of untoward conditions is well-known, this honour did not come without some opposition, as is normal in most human affairs.

Bernardo Villalba (ANR), a member of the Paraguayan parliament, had proposed that the spiritual leader, Prophet TB Joshua, be granted the “Comuneros”, the highest honour of distinction that the Paraguayan parliament can bestow on a person.

Before it was fully approved, however, according to a local news report, Avanza País MP, Rocío Casco, had opposed it on the grounds that it had previously only been awarded to citizens of the country.

But Villalba had maintained his position. “For the first time ever, I propose the National Order to be awarded to a personality and I am proposing that he be awarded this distinction by the Members of Parliament,” he said.

Prophet TB Joshua is popular in Southern America, as in other parts of the world, and has received a similar honour at his crusade in Peru.
As if to preempt doubting Thomases, Mr Ojukwu was quick to corroborate the great works performed by Prophet Joshua which should earn him such honour.
The man of God had once caused him to be healed of an intractable anal growth using the water the man of God prayed upon, known as anointing water – or Morning Water these days.

Few people can suppress their enthusiasm if they have had a painful tumour blocking their anus such that made faecal excretion a nightmare for two years, especially after spending millions of naira in hospitals only to find a cure in a church without the doctors’ prescribed surgery – and at no cost.

So, it is not surprising that Mr Ojukwu sees in the conferment of Paraguay’s highest national honour of distinction on Prophet Joshua an opportunity to validate the man’s genuineness as a true servant of God by telling the whole world that he got his miracle cure after administering the anointing water given to him by the man of God.

Mr Ojukwu affirms that there’s no stopping this man of God as he continues to receive accolades, garlands, awards and other honours in recognition of his selfless service to humanity through the manifestation of the will and Word of God.

“The world will stand up for those doggedly committed to doing God’s will and applaud. So it is with Prophet TB Joshua, whose three-day visit to Paraguay in August 2017 earned him that country’s highest honour, National Order of Merit with Distinction”, Mr Ojukwu enthused.

On arrival in the South American nation, Prophet Joshua had been met by top government officials at a ceremony.

During a full session of the legislators, BernadoVillalba explained that the Nigeria-born international televangelist deserved the award because of his philanthropy as well as his spiritual contribution to the nation of Paraguay.
He said, while proposing the award at a special session in recognition of the visitor’s positive contribution to humanity, that Prophet TB Joshua would “bring peace and blessing to our nation.”

It was indeed a blessing to Paraguay, which would later present the man of God with the key to the capital city of Asuncion. This was an indication that the city had been handed over to God for His blessing through Prophet T.B Joshua.

Hon. Roberto Acevedo made the official presentation of the highest National Honour by the Paraguayan Parliament to Senior Prophet TB Joshua.

You would think that the man of God may have reached the zenith, but Mr Ojukwu believes that more of such honours would likely follow in the years ahead.

“As Prophet TB Joshua himself says, the best is yet to come. So with the dogged spirit of the man of God and with what he keeps doing daily, committed to charitable works and praying for the welfare and good of all humanity, there is no doubt that many more honours will follow. I pray that God continues to bless and strengthen him in the course of his mission of touching lives across the globe.

“It’s just as the Emmanuel TV slogan says: ‘changing lives, changing nations, changing the world.’ Prophet TB Joshua is really living true to this mission he began a few decades ago. And the Paraguayan award testifies to the fact that he is appreciated for his endeavours along this line,” Mr Ojukwu said.
