Adesina marks 35 years at the bar

Nigerian senior lawyers led by the first female Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Mrs Folake Solanke will tomorrow, February 22, gather at MUSON Centre, Lagos to celebrate one of their own, Mr Dele Adesina (SAN) as he marks 35 years of his been called to the bar. Already a lecture and a book presentation are scheduled to mark the day.

According to a release from his law firm, Dele Adesina LP, he was called to the bar 35 years ago, established his firm 25 years ago, and attained the rank of Senior Advocate 10 years ago.

An array of leading legal practitioners is expected to engage in the activities marking the day. Top on the list is Prof Konyinsola Ajayi (SAN) who will deliver a lecture titled “Drop the hook: Do not be afraid”. The lecture seeks to build hope in young legal practitioners.

Other speakers are Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), Prof. Fabian Ajokwu (SAN), Mrs. Abimbola Akeredolu (SAN), Osaro Eghobamien (SAN) and Mrs. Christine Sijuwade.

A book titled “New Development in Law and Practise in Nigeria” will be presented in honour of Adesina.
