29 ships laden with petroleum products, foods, expected in Lagos ports
Twenty-nine ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive at the Lagos ports from Sept 14 to Sept 30.
The Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its daily publication -` Shipping Position’- made available to newsmen in Lagos on Monday.
According to NPA, 18 of the expected ships will sail in with containers, rice, frozen fish, bulk salt, bulk sugar, buckwheat and crude palm olein.
It noted that 11 other ships would arrive with base oil, aviation fuel, petrol, general cargo and truck heads.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 12 other ships had arrived at the ports, waiting to berth.
NPA said the ships sailed in with general cargo, frozen fish, rice, base oil, petrol and bulk gas.
