Ahead of next year’s presidential elections, Nigerians electorate have been advised to look beyond immediate gratifications in the process of selecting their leaders, rather, they should vote according to their conscience and not allow corrupt politicians to influence their choice in the elections.

The National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hajia Salamatu Baiwa, and the Chairman of Savers Empowerment Ambassadors Initiative (SEAI), Frank Ramsey Ezike, gave the advice during the official inauguration of zonal and state coordinators of the Initiative, a pro-Buhari organisation.

Baiwa, represented by the South-South Woman Leader, Mrs. Rachael Akpabio, urged Nigerians to change their altitude on bribery and corruption, if they truly want the real change her party stands for in the next political era.

Baiwa said Nigerians need to face the reality and support APC, which she said has been at the vanguard of anti-corruption crusade in the country, with a view to foster the real change the masses yarn for, adding: “Though some corrupt leaders who are finding it difficult to cope with the current corruption crusade may have been gathering momentum to fight back, but Nigerians should resist them by voting massively for President Muhammadu Buhari come 2019.”

Ezike said APC stands for change and all Nigerians need is to change their altitudes about bribery, corruption and selfishness, noting: “Nigerians should vote for Buhari in 2019, so that the good work he has been doing will continue.”

He said the uttermost interest of the Initiative is to identify with leaders with good ideas, concepts and administrative dispositions in governance that is borne out of the passion to move the nation forward.
