Anambra State governor, Prof. Charles Soludo, has said his achievements in office as governor are enough to give victory to House of Assembly candidates running on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

Soludo, who spoke through his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, said leaders of the opposition in the state are feeling uncomfortable because they know that Anambra remains APGA land, and that they have slim chances of winning any seat in Saturday’s election.

The governor said: “Apart from the fact that Anambra remains an APGA state, it will be unfair for any Anambra indigene to see the good works of the governor and still not vote for APGA in Saturday’s election.

“The governor will be one year in office on Friday, but you will think he has been here for four years already. Within this one year, he has employed 5,000 teachers for our schools, which is something that never happened anywhere before.

“When he took office, there were no doctors in most hospitals across the state, but the governor has employed many doctors, nurses and other caregivers, in addition to road projects being flagged off everywhere in the state.”
