Liz Benson Ameye, one of the most iconic Nollywood personalities of all time, is making a big return to the screens. She will star in a film by Bukola Ogunsola titled Something About the Briggs.
The popular veteran has reportedly taken on the role of a marriage counsellor in the film, which explores themes of wealth, family, and marriage. It is currently under production in Abuja.
Something About the Briggs also stars Rita Dominic and Iyabo Ojo, veterans like Nobert Young, Gloria Young, Zack Orji, Bukky Wright, and Tunbosun Aiyedehin. Other actors include Daniel Etim-Effiong, Stan Nze, Kenneth Okoli, and Kalu Ikeagwu. There are also new Nollywood favourites like Ariyike Owolagba, Elma Mbadiwe, Kanaga Junior, and Simi Drey.

On set, the actress shone in her element, reminding everyone of her status as one of the biggest stars of the 90s. The film is the third production for Bukola, the CEO of Revelation Pictures. She previously produced the 2019 film ‘Another Father’s Day‘ and its prequel, ‘Father’s Day,’ which starred Wale Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, among other notable actors.
Something About the Briggs is set to show in cinemas once it’s released. However, we await the announcement of its premiere date.Â
