The movie Pacific Rim mixed elements of giant monsters, huge robots and anime, making it a dream for geeks. Now, there is a sequel to the movie.
The sequel stars John Boyega, who plays the son of Idris Elba’s Stacker Pentecost from the first film.
The former pilot turned criminal finds himself as part of the resistant fighting against a new wave of much bigger monsters.
From the official trailer, it looks like there’s plenty of giant robot mayhem.
Directed by Steven S. DeKnight, the movie also stars Scott Eastwood, Jing Tian, Cailee Spaeny, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day, Karan Brar and Rahart Adams.
