Justin Bieber, you’ve been a bad, bad boy and it’s too late to say Sorry.

Well, at least for the Beijing Bureau who banned the singer from performing in the country due to his “bad behaviour”.
According to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture, “His series of misbehaviors while living abroad and during his performances in China has caused public resentment.” This memo was also posted afterwards by the Beijing bureau in response to a belieber’s (that is what Justin Bieber fans are called) complaint.

They also said, “To regulate the domestic entertainment market and purify its environment, we find it inappropriate to bring in performers with bad behaviors.” (Translation by CNN.) According to them, the artist, who has had repeated run-ins with the law – including for drunken drag racing in a yellow Lamborghini – was unsuitable for Chinese ears. The bureau did not state the exact behaviour that had led to this ban,but they said that in order to “purify” China’s performing arts it had decided Bieber’s exclusion was appropriate.

The Canadian pop star’s current world tour in Asia will have shows in Tokyo, the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta and others. Although Bieber’s site shows no dates in China, a Chinese ticket agency is still selling tickets for a September 16 in Beijing and September 23 in Shanghai, but will be offering.

Beijing’s culture bureau made it clear it was not totally rejecting the Canadian artist: “We hope Justin Bieber is able to improve his conduct as he grows up and will once again find public favour.”

Regardless of what happens though, bad boy Justin, love yourself. Hopefully you will find favour with the public once more.
