David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is an American-born Nigerian recording artist, performer and record producer. He has hit singles like, If, Fall, Aye and Dami Duro.

Davido, DMW frontline act, is currently Nigeria’s most followed celebrity on Instagram, with five million followers.

He is followed closely by Wizkid, the star boy musician who has 4 million followers.

Actress Funke Akindele-Bello, also known as Jenifa, follows the two musicians with 3.8 million followers.

Diva Tiwa Savage falls in fourth place with 3.7 million followers.

Don Jazzy follows closely with 3.4 million followers.

Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji falls in next with 3.1 million while P-Square’s Peter Okoye has three million followers.

Davido is set to take Africa for the “30 Billion Africa Tour”. He revealed this on his Instagram page with the tour starting on October 7 in Bloemfontein, South Africa. The tour will also touch cities like Accra, Harare, Gaborone, Polokwane, Luanda, Maputo, Conakry and Abidjan before ending on December 27 in Lagos, Nigeria.
