The new addition to the family is voiced by SA Singer Toya Delazy who happily announced it on Twitter.

Cartoon Network just gave fans a first look at the character.

On Twitter, the network shared the first poster for its upcoming Powerpuff Girls special episode titled “Power of Four”.

Power of Four will follow Blossom and the gang as they bring on a heroine named Bliss.

Bliss has a few things in common with her new teammates; she wears a similar dress to the girls, except that hers is dyed a shade of purple, with cropped white tights and black shoes.

Her hairdo is different though. She has very long hair with shades of teal. The look also comes with bangs and a heart-pendant hairband and compliments Blossom’s bow and Bubble’s pigtails.

This is not the first time that The Powerpuff Girls has tried to bring in a new character. In the late 1990s, the original Powerpuff Girls series brought in a character known as Bunny.

Bunny, who had a short-lived story arc, was created by the girls to ease the heavy responsibilities they shared. They used knock-off ingredients like artificial sweetener to make her. Bunny disappoints her sisters at first, but she comes around and saves the day before dying in a flash of blinding light.

No sugar, spice and everything nice?

Welcome to the family, Bliss.

Power of Four lands on September 17th, airing on Cartoon Network at 5:30 PM EST.
