We always focus on the skin when it comes to beauty- the best foundation to use, the best moisturizer for your skin. What you really don’t know is, you get dehydrated faster during the harmattan period.

The weather is drier and the sun is harsher, and sometimes during the process of working and running errands, we forget to stay hydrated during the day.

Here are a few tips to help you stay hydrated during the harmattan.

  1. Always carry bottled water: It might seem tasking having to carry around a bottle of water, but holding it makes you take a sip every now and then without you forgetting to drink water.
  2. Download a water app: What most of these apps those are to remind you in a scheduled time to drink water, enough to keep you hydrated all day.
