The CEO OF Tencent (TCHEY), Ma Huateng, also known as “Pony” Ma, has been rated the richest man in China in the Hurun Report’s Global Rich List.

With an estimated amount of $47 billion last year, much of his success is linked to his share of nearly 9% in his company and the company’s Wechat app. Also, his company’s market value of $540 billion has put it ahead of Facebook.

However, Mark Zuckerberg, founder of the Facebook company is still in the frontrunner with $79 billion. This new position puts Ma at number 15 on the World’s richest individual.
