If there is a list of artistes known for being pacesetters in music, then the trio of Drake, Ed Sheeran and Rihanna will definitely make the cut so it comes as no surprise that they top Spotify’s list of most popular songs and artists of all time on the platform.

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Spotify compiled a list of the most popular songs and artists of all time on the platform and Canadian rapper, Drake claimed the top spot as the most-streamed artist of all time.

British singer, Ed Sheeran claimed two number one spots with “Shape Of You” as the most-streamed song of all time and ‘Divide’ as the most-streamed album of all time. Barbados born songstress, Rihanna topped the list as the most-streamed female artist of all time.

Spotify currently claims to have 180 million monthly active listeners across 65 territories. The streaming giant went public on the New York Stock Exchange in April of this year.

Just recently, Ed Sheeran was named the world’s richest solo artist after he reportedly made £75k a day last year.
