Natural haircare can be a hassle sometimes, especially when you don’t have the right products. Here are some easy ways to make your own leave-in conditioner in the comfort of your home.

COCONUT OIL HONEY

For extra dry hair, this might be the right combination for you. This is because all the ingredients in this mixture are designed to sooth the hair and prevent breakage.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 oz. coconut oil
  • 2 oz. aloe vera gel
  • 1 tsp. avocado oil
  • ⅓ cup water

METHOD

  1. Mix coconut and avocado oil in a small cup.
  2. Pour aloe vera gel and water in a small spray bottle.
  3. Add the coconut and avocado mix to the spray bottle.
  4. Shake well prior to every application.

HONEY BUTTER BALM

The ingredients of this mixture are well known for their ability to provide moisture for the hair. These hydrating properties make them perfect for dry hair and scalp.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 oz. shea butter
  • 1 oz. coconut oil
  • A few drops of essential lavender oil
  • 1 tsp honey

METHOD

  1. Melt shea butter and coconut oil together.
  2. Mix well. Add honey and lavender oil.
  3. Mix again and refrigerate until the mixture is even.
  4. Apply as desired.
