  • Smelly Shoes

During the holidays, families spend a lot of time together outdoors. Whether it’s for sightseeing, enjoy nature, hiking, a picnic or any other outdoor activity, chances are that smelly shoes might become a real problem. To fix this quickly, all you need to do is to put a tea bag in the shoe and leave it overnight. When you wake up, the teabag should have absorbed all the moisture and they should be ready to go. If the shoe gets extra damp–probably from walking in wet areas– you can add a mixture of rice and baking soda and leave for a day or two.

  • Body Odour

These trips could get so hectic sometimes that you tend to forget the most basic things. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you forgot to use deodorant or your deodorant got finished and you can’t get another at that exact moment, this hack is for you. Simply cut a fresh lemon or orange into two halves and rub it on your skin and you should be good for that day.

  • Bad Breath

This might be another side effect of the forgetfulness that comes with this season. If you ever find yourself outside and realize you forgot to brush your teeth, or your breath starts to feel a bit ‘funky’, simply get an apple to eat. It also helps to avoid coffee that day, you could replace it with a healthy dose of green tea which also helps with bad breath.
