Fenty Beauty by Rihanna

After ten years of Rihanna being in the public eye, she released a beauty line Fenty Beauty which made its debut on September 8th with the release of over 80 products. With over 1 million followers on Instagram, it has gotten nothing but great reviews so far due to her diverse range of products which destroys the myth that it is almost impossible to have products for people of colour and albinos.

IT is back!

The Stephen King adaptation is at the top for the highest ranking movie broke the box office with the release of IT which opened on the 8th of September for N4,866,750,000 and broke the box office record of N4,486,932,549 on the 9th of September at the North American box office. It is the largest opening for a film debuting in September and Warner Bros stated that it was the largest opening for a horror movie ever. It is also the largest gross for an R-rated title and a film based on a Stephen King book.

All hail iPhone X

The iPhone X might just be the beginning of a new range of iPhones with Roman figures as it overshadowed the iPhone 8 and 8 plus during the announcement on September 12th. Starting from the price of N360,500, social media has been raving with people selling their souls to get the device and its impressive features. From the OLED super retina to the absence of a home button, to unlocking with Face ID, stellar camera and to save the best for last the Animoji (animated emoji). We can’t really wait for November 3rd!

Hart who is one of the most influential comedians on the planet took to his Instagram in an emotional video to talk about his judgment in error and asked for forgiveness from his wife and kids. Hart who didn’t admit to anything specifically was used to create a hashtag on Twitter #blackmendontcheat. At the moment, Hart’s reputation is on the line seeing as it was speculated that he cheated on his ex-wife with his current wife and has cheated on his current wife with another woman. Will the cycle ever end?

The 23-time Grand Slam singles champion gave birth on the 1st of September and announced on the 14th the name of her daughter – Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr, after her fiancé Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. Just like her friend Beyonce, she took to revealing the name creatively through a pregnancy montage. The video was put together via home videos and social-media posts from her pregnancy term. The highlight was the Snapchat selfie from the Australian Open with her winner’s trophy with the caption “No one knows I’m 8 weeks pregnant.” We can’t wait to see her comeback!
