Kanye West has a new name again. The artist was given a new name by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni. The Ugandan president’s office stated that he has named the artist Kanyesigye, which means “Ï trust”.

The rapper recently changed his name to ‘Ye.’
The rapper’s wife Kim Kardashian was also given a Ugandan name Kemigisha, which means “the one with blessings from God.”

The announcement was made through a Facebook post.

The couple was reportedly excited over the new names given to them.

The US rapper said he was happy to be in Uganda, which he described as his second home, according to Mr Museveni’s office.

According to Mr Museveni’s office, the rapper stated: “He informed the president that he intends to put up a world-class tourism school in the country, which will support the tourism industry not only in Uganda but the East Africa region in general.”
