Yesterday, Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo’s Instagram post sparked rumours that he had gotten engaged. The post which has over 55 thousand likes got reactions from celebrities including media personality, Toke Makinwa who joked that she is surprised she is not the chosen one.

Less than 24 hours after the post, he has come out to explain that he is not the one getting married. “My friend rather got engaged and I posted it online”, he said.
This will not be the first time it has been rumoured that he is getting married. In 2013, a news site reported that he is secretly married to a nurse in the US, a claim he refuted.
