Seoul is always ranked high among the cities known for well-established public transportations. In 2017, it took a spot on the Lonely Planet as “Best in Travel 2017”. Boasting of the world’s best subway, the city is known for historic buildings as old as 2,000 years.

There is no better way to visit these sites other than using Seoul’s subway which boasts of a 4G wireless internet service. The subway environment is suited to make people comfortable so that it is air-conditioned during summer and heated during winter.

Here are some of the must-see sights in Seoul:

Gyeongbokgung, Seochon

Get a first-hand experience of the Gyeongbokgung palace built in 1395. Take a trip around the village and see the widely talked about Joseon Dynasty.

The palace is surrounded by Bugaksan Mountain, Naksan Mountain and Inwangsan Mountain. You might want to visit wearing Hanbok, a traditional Korean outfit. This is because your Hanbok is your free pass to the palace.

Bukchon Hanok Village

Bukchon Hanok Village is the best place to get a sense of Korea’s traditional spirit and discover traces of what the city used to look like. There are many historical sites, cultural assets, and folklore exhibitions. These give this area the nickname – “street museum.”

Fashion Mecca Dongdaemun

It is the world’s largest 3D atypical landmark architecture. It is also the last architecture to be designed by world’s renowned architect Zaha Hadid. Shop in luxury stores like Chanel and Dior or better still, visit in March and October during Seoul Fashion Week.

Namsan Mountain
