Despite the reactions from critics tagging the movie as one of the worst of the past year, Netflix says it’s their “highest viewed Netflix film ever on the service in its first week of release and one of the biggest originals (including sequels/additional seasons) Netflix has ever launched.”

More details about the sequel will be revealed in the coming months.
